Savings Beginning (Boyerz Tips)

Savings in the Beginning, a Boyerz Tip

There is a time to save money and sometimes not.

Some people spend and some save. I'm one of those people who spends a lot. I am a person who loves to try new things. If everyone likes it, i will definitely try it! However there are limitations because not everything. To spend huge amount of money like Dream Car (a budgeted car for students) or any game console.

My mom gave me advice like to save the money for my business even i don't have plans for one. So moving on. For the start i'll just save it for a premium headphones since my ears are sensitive of earphones for an hour or 2. So Headphones with soft pillow like so you don't feel pain when you have it on for hours. Then probably save it and never spend it for the future use.

Since i'm in the Philippines. Despite i'm an american as well. I been getting questions how did i apply it? and whats the requirements and money to open an account.

Disclaimer : I'm a beginner for savings. I sometimes spend money too but that happens usually, just as you know i'm not expert for money saving

For International Banks, Contact your local banks for inquiries. But just to be sure of the common requirements would be
  • 1x1 or 2x2 Picture
  • 1 or 2 Valid ID's (Depends on bank how many ID's they want)
  • Proof of billing e.g water, electric bills if necessary
  • Amount of money to deposit for your new account
Now i will show you how i applied mine at BPI (Bank of the Philippines) There's both but i'll only show you to Easy Savers Account.
Warning - BPI Easy Savers Account has a fee of 5 pesos for ATM Withdraw. This is not the Express Teller Card since I want to practice to save money. This is strategy not to withdraw money all the time!

For Easy Savers Account you'll need the following requirements
  • 1x1 or 2x2 Picture
  • 1 Valid ID (Sedula, Barangay Clearance, Police Clearance is NOT applicable. Only use Government Issued ID like SSS, Senior Citizen Card, Driver's License.)
  • 200 Pesos for deposit
  • 50 Pesos for the ATM Card
  • Study Load (If you're going to use Student ID to open an account)
That's pretty much it and yea it's nice having your ATM card off the spot! But if you were instructed by the bank employee. After having the PIN entered at the ATM Machine (Can also use Despite ATM Machine) and wait for a day until your Savings Account will exist and you'll be able to see your remaining balance. And Do not forget to accept EOL (Express Online) through the ATM before enrolling your bank account to BPI.

Happy Savings Folks! :D Let our dreams pursue!
